Your tour begins as you leave our docks with a brief history of Seattle and the events that made Lake Union what it is today. After that foundation is built, the tour takes you through the specifics that brought the area from a small logging and fishing community to a mecca for technology and innovation. You will learn about everything from the rum runners in the prohibition area that operated on the lake to Gasworks Park which the Seattle Times calls the strangest park in Seattle and potentially one of the strangest in the world.
